What is a good affordable health plan to get?
I аm a single 25 year οld healthy male. Arе thеrе аnу truly affordable health plans out thеrе fοr mе? And don't ѕау thаt 0 a month іѕ affordable, bесаυѕе іtѕ nοt. I don't need аnу major medical coverage. I haven't hаd insurance fοr 6 years аnd haven't bееn tο thе doctor іn those six years. Hοwеνеr, mу eyesight isn't grеаt, ѕο vision coverage wουld bе gοοd. I аlѕο want dental coverage аѕ well. Anу suggestions?

I think it's cheaper to pay cash, insurance is merely a coupon.
~~I don't know what state you live in which makes a huge difference. But what you want is a major medical plan. It would mainly cover you if you have a major illness requiring hospitalization. Not so much on doctors visits. You can also get dental privately also, but I'm not sure on the vision coverage. You would need to ask an agent.
My son is 26, is on Blue Shield's Optimum, and he has a $4,000.00 deductible a year, and one free physical a year. His monthly premium is $52. So you really can't bet the premium cost. In your healthy situation, this would be great for you.

I have to agree with Debijs. Given that you are young and healthy, you're better of paying for your own vision care and dental care (assuming your teeth are healthy too!). So all you really need is MAJOR medical coverage with a sizeable deductible to lower your monthly.
Get multiple quotes from several major insurers and pick the best one for your needs. I used http://51w.us/healthinsurance to get quotes and went with Blue Cross, for $37 per month for just major med coverage, $3k deductible.
