I just had a #4 tooth extracted prepping for a dental bridgework. The dentist immediately cemented a temporary tooth in its place for a month, until I come back for impressions. Is this normal before the extraction site heals? Why would he do that? Will it heal underneath properly?

We just started with a new Pediatric Dentist and they have a policy that states "parents are not allowed in the room with their child during an exam/dental work". Is this normal? I was very offended and ended up arguing with the dentist, before she allowed me in for the "first visit only". I’m not planning on going back… just wondering if this is normal?

We have a new dentist because we moved. My wife got a filling and had to go back a second time to fix the same filling. I got a filling from the same dentist and I need to go back to get it fixed because it is uncomfortable to eat still after a month. I had NO problems before the filling but he said I should get it. So is this an insurance dentist scam??? Why can’t it be done RIGHT the FIRST time? I know they call it a PRACTICE but it’s not brain surgery.

I recently had all four of my wisdom teeth out. After about a week, I went back for a check-up and the dentist put this disgusting brown moss-like stuff in one of the gums to help it heal and prevent infection, I guess. Really I got bitter experience because of total negligence of Dentist’s front office people. That dentist also silent for my complaint against those people.
So how can I teach them a lesson? To whom I have to complain ( I have strong witness about their negligence) about them?
