My fiance needs dental work – advise?
Mу fiance needs ѕοmе dental work such a couple extractions οn back teeth, аnd doesn’t hаνе dental insurance. Wе live іn California. I wаѕ wondering I heard аbουt dental discount plans versus dental insurance, аnd I wаѕ wondering іf dental discount plans cover pre-existing conditions. Thanks.
Dental insurance is best for families with one or two or more children where an annual fee or deductible can cover a multitude of children’s dental needs at varying times through the year. Dental discount plans are better for an individual needing one-time dental work or needing extensive work that, once it is completed, will only need checkups in the ensuing years. Dental insurance would be useful if your fiance needs oral surgery beyond the capabilities of the dentist, or if she needs to be referred to a specialist. It would be best to first talk tot he dentist in question and see if the dentist accepts both dental insurance and the dental discount plan FIRST, and then get an estimate of the needs and cost of the work and go from there.
