Look around for a dental school or volunteer dental clinic. Alot of times there are some kind of community health clinics that will do dental work on a sliding scale or for a really low price. Also call around to dental offices, tell them your situation, and ask if they could work out a contract where you could pay a monthly payment. Also, find a school that has a dental hygiene program, try to get an appointment there and have your xrays done for really cheap and that will cut some cost. To be honest, the money spent on dental insurance could be used on the dental work it’s self. Sometimes it takes months for the plan to even kick in.
