I hear people talk аbουt hοw thе gvernment health insurance рlаn wіll "force" thеm tο οnlу see сеrtаіn doctors, whісh іѕ impossible bacause уου first hаνе tο voluntarially sign up fοr thе рlаn. Even thеn, јυѕt lіkе EVERY οthеr country wіth government health care, уου саn always opt out іn favor οf private health care.
Sο hοw іѕ іt forcing anyone tο change thеіr health care?
(1) Like medicare and medicaid only certain doctors will accept it.
(2) He is going to force everyone to have health insurance.
(3) Even the democrats do not believe that private insurance will be able to survive.

In Places where they have Universal health care health care is not created. Doctors salaries are pushed down and the number of patients they have to treat go up. This means rationing of health care.
The other thing that happens is that the government makes it so that the pharmaceutical companies and other medical research companies can not be compensated for Research and development killing R&D in new technology and treatments. Why do you think that all of the innovations come from here in the US. One reason that our health care is so expensive is because we have to pay for all of the R&D from countries with Universal Health care. That is why you see no innovations coming from them.
Universal Health care is not free. Basically is will cost all of those that all ready prioritize health care and pay for it now weather they can really afford it or not. The Congressional Budget Office said that Obama’s plan will lead to an additional $1.6 TRILLION deficit over the next 10 years and will leave 35Million people without health care.
That means that those that do get health care that do not now will cost on average $60,000+.
Really, and do not let anyone tell you different, anyone in this country can have health insurance if it is their priority. When I graduated from HS I realized that I needed health insurance even though I was completely healthy so i got a job as a bank teller. Anyone can do this and there are plenty of jobs out there. Obviously there were many jobs that I would have rather had, but I prioritized health insurance, and people like me are the ones that will suffer under Obama’s plan.
In this country anyone that prioritizes it can have health insurance and get world class care. Obama is going to take it from those of every income class that have it as a priority and give it to those that simply do not.
We are forced to change from no health care to real health care!
Barry will force private insurers out of business, starting with the smaller ones. Those that start to lose money refuse to comply will be nationalized.

It wouldn’t "force" anything, but it would leave me to choose whatever is the lower cost to me. If the lower cost is government health care, I’ll choose it, and so will everyone else, leaving private companies to go out of business or be bailed out. If private is less expensive, then what’s ultimately the benefit of universal health care to me? The answer would be none, except that I would see an increase in taxes to pay for the poor who are not already covered under Medicare/Medicaid.
yeah, you will be able to keep your private plan….At first….then what..you think employers are going to pay to offer their employees insurance when they know that they can just go get it for "free".
It will only force them to get what is offered. The Government will decide what you need and when you need it. They can withold any service they deem unnecessary. They can decide what services you get and where you get them. Don’t be fooled by the idea of National health care, it comes with a cost, you may not wish to pay.

There is nothing voluntary about this plan.
Everyone will be required to purchase health care whether you want or not. Nobody cares if you have enough money to buy food for your kids or pay apartment rent. You may be homeless, but you must buy health care.
Moreover, eventually you will be only able to purchase your heath care from the federal goverment

They say that the government will play by the same rules as private health care…if so, why do we need it. There are 1000 different companies that provide health care coverage.
If it will play by the same rules, then what good will it do? If it won’t play by the same rules and creates its own advantage then how will it not put all the private plans out of business? You see, either we don’t need it or we will eventually be forced to take it.
Either way, it means more taxes and crappier services. What Americans need to do is see the lines in Great Britain for elective surgeries. They need to see the terrible care given in other countries. Yeah we may go to Canada for cheaper drugs, but they come here for surgery.
It is the same thing that he is trying to do with wealth. He cannot raise up those who will not contribute so Obama will bring everyone else down to make things "equal" but crappy. You cannot do the things that he is proposing without diminishing the care of the greatest health care system in the world.
I have lived in places with government run health care…I would rather suffer than be treated in their hospitals. Do us a favor…educate yourself. Read about the stories of horrendous shortages on drugs, and year long waits for surgeries. That is coming to a town near you unless we stop it.

He has to pay for this plan and one of the ways he is going to do it is to make the people who already have insurance pay taxes on the currently nontaxable income that goes to their insurance premiums.
So they will pay more in taxes to fund people who don’t have insurance making them the ones responsible for paying for the uninsured.
So even if you don’t switch to government insurance you will being paying for it without any say in it.

It would force people to pay tax dollars for those who don’t want to work.
It would put health care companies out of business. With this new ‘free’ health care, they won’t be able to survive. People will already be paying taxes for it, so why would they go and pay another company? Most probably couldn’t even afford it. So there will be no private companies to turn to. That also means that people are going to get laid off.
Without private companies, we will eventually be forced into government health care. And that will never work. It’s communism, first of all. Second of all, have you ever seen Canada or Europe? You have to wait a long time before getting helped. You can even get turned down.
Think of it this way. Everybody will get it, right? But not everybody is going to be paying for it, since some people don’t pay taxes. That means that the medical expenses will outweigh the tax revenue. This will result in mediocre health care. The government will only be able to afford bad doctors and hospitals.

We won’t know until it’s finalized. What I can tell you is that the US Government cannot even efficiently run it’s Medicare and Medicare-run pharmaceutical programs, and Seniors have been forced to subsidize those programs to get any kind of true medical help, although they’ve paid into the system for 60 years.

Due to the pressures from the existing insurance companies demanding the Government ensure ALL business provide healthcare and ALL individuals are insured (or they’d raise their rates even more), he’s simply doing what he’s told. And that, my friend, is not a leader. That is someone who’s been bought.
He’s well aware most will opt for private healthcare which will line their pockets even more – and that was the whole idea.
More choices and freedom have been taken away or proposed to be in the past 6 months than they have in my entire lifetime.
Most are oblivious to this, and many feel powerless, many don’t care until it’s all said and done. Then it’s like "What Happened?".
