How does Obama’s health plan differ from Hilary’s?
Frοm whаt I hаνе heard οf Hilary’s health рlаn, іt іѕ аwfυl аnd communist lіkе. I аm wondering hοw similar Obama’s рlаn іѕ tο hеrѕ. Dοеѕ hе support government controlled health care? Hοw exactly dοеѕ hе want tο change thе system? Dοеѕ hе want everyone tο hаνе thе same рlаn?
If Obama’s health рlаn hаѕ aything tο dο wіth government control, thеn Mccain’s рlаn іѕ infinitely better.
Bυt thеn again, maybe уου wουld prefer a communist leader. LOL
obama rocks, i sure hope he wins over mccain.. everyone who likes him should vote for him on this page (and get a free gift card!!).
More or less the same, although Obama’s won’t be mandated I don’t think. I think it will work if it is implemented slowly. If you make such a radical raise in taxes, the market will respond negatively and the US will either experience more of a slowdown or jobs will get shipped overseas.
I think Sen. Clinton was going to give it free and sen. Obama is going to charge some pesos for it and make it optional and Sen. McCain is not gong to change anything. But the illegal immigrants will pay nothing under any plan. Oley!
Ahaha… and McCain’s health care is gold. NOPE. I bet you can do some research buddy and find out for yourself.. & when you do.. come back and tell me that it’s NOT better than McCain’s plan.. and I will tell you how retarded you are… LOL.
I don’t think that Obama intends for his national health care plan to become a mandate like Hillary Clinton’s would be, but the economics and mechanics of his plans would eventually force them to become just that. If Obama does, in fact, choose to offer healthcare to everyone not covered under a corporate plan at the discount afforded to members of congress, the demand for health care services would outstrip the supply. And since prices would be artificially controlled, the only solution would be to ration the services themselves, essentially rationing healthcare. That basically means that the government would be making all of your healthcare decisions for you, whether you want them to or not.
Obama may be too naive to discern that this would be the inevitable consequences of his plans, but that doesn’t make this scenario any less inevitable.
Edit: To get into the details about the actual plan, Obama would make healthcare coverage mandatory for children, but make it a choice for adults. He would allow people who are not currently covered under an insurance plan from their employer or family to be covered under the plan that to government gives to members of congress. Hillary would create an entirely new department of Healthcare Security and would require EVERYONE to get healthcare and subscribe to the government system only. If you want an idea of how efficient and effective this kind of bureaucracy would be, visit your local DMV. And if you thought that HMOs making medical decisions for patients instead of doctors is bad, wait till you see what happens when the government tries it.

The above link compares the two policies both pushed for.
But look at the death rates for kids aged under five in the USA. And compare it to western European countries with universal healthcare. Despite spending more money on healthcare PER PERSON than any other country in the world, the USA has one of the industrialised worlds higest death rates for kids aged under five.
The joys of the US having private companies in healthcare eh?
