How did Medicare make it through 6 years of GWBush with Republicans controlling both houses in Congress?

   It never made it. It’s already been chopped to nothing. Have you seen the movie “John Q”? It pretty much summarizes what has happened under Bush.

   Love it when people watches a movie and claim it as the truth. Anyway, show me something well the republicans is cutting medicare? Truth IS, OBAMACARE cut 500 BILLION DOLLARS out of medicare and no one even brings that up. Doctors a cross the country are beginning to refuse medicare patients, because obamacare is paying doctors about 60 cents on a dollar. THAT IS GREAT FOR SENIORS. Also, obamacare targets 5 years for the cheal inexpensive senior health care–advantage plans and hmo’s, will be eliminated for seniors—ANOTHER GREAT MOVE TO HELP SENIORS. BTW–I work in this field for last 14 years–this is the truth–i see the efeect of obamacare everyday

   They robbed social securty to make up for the tax cuts for the rich & famous !They are mad because when bush tried to turn social security over to his wall-street WHORES ,they got a HELL NO ! Now they want to do away with it social security ,medicare and medicaid! What the hell are the working class supporterS OF THE REPUBICAN PARTY thinking ?    It was part of the Bush Agenda.

   But first they needed to build political capital by invading Iraq and taking out Saddam Hussein.

   Then 9/11 happened, and they got sidetracked in Afghanistan.

   When they finally got around to invading Iraq, they got bogged down in a quagmire.

   One good thing to come out of the Bush administration actually was expansion of Medicare Advantage which gives all Seniors access to additional choices and benefits through private insurance which is subsidized by the federal government. Also the addition of Medicare Part D which helps seniors to obtain prescription drug coverage.

   Medicare Advantage was one of the first target and resulted in massive cuts from the OBAMA administration as soon as he took office. If you do the research you will find this to be 100% fact.
