Search the internet. Depending on what you want in a policy, there a lots of companies that will write individual polices for under $100.00 a month. You might have a high deductible and have to pay higher co-pays but if you are looking more for insurance in case of a catastrophic illness, you can find them.
Blue Cross, and Aetna are two companies that offer policies.
I just check them out for my son who aged out of my husband’s policy.
