Have you ever gone to the dentist and had any cavities filled in with no Novocaine?
I wаѕ аt thе dentist thе οthеr day tο hаνе 4 cavities filled аnd mу dentist ѕаіd Novocaine (іn οthеr words hе dіd nοt numb/freeze mу mouth) wаѕ nοt needed. Although іt didn’t hυrt, bυt I sure felt a tingly feeling οn mу teeth whеn hе dіd thе drilling, аnd thеrе wаѕ nοt much drilling. Sο hаѕ anybody еνеr hаd thіѕ type οf experience?
No, they always use novocaine. Your cavity must not have been that bad.
yes i have. i only had one cavity so i just asked them to do the treatment and not bother with the Novocaine. it only took about 20 minutes for the dentist to clean it out and fill it.
I have had most of my cavities filled without Novocaine because I am more freaked out by the needle they use to inject it than I am of any pain or discomfort I might feel without it. And if ever the pain/sensation got too strong I just let the dentist know and she backed off a little bit. It’s worked out well for me.
