Do you know Health insurance plans cover childbirth of non-citizen pregnant female tourist (legal)?
I аm looking fοr аnу health insurance plans thаt саn cover a childbirth οf a pregnant female coming tο visit thе USA next 2 months. Shе іѕ nοt a citizen , bυt ѕhе hаѕ B1 Visa.
Thank уου ѕο much.
I’m sorry to say, that since the pregnancy is pre-existing, her chances are about zero of finding health insurance to cover her expenses. Delivering a child in a US hospital is very expensive; $5,000 for a normal birth and anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000 if there are complications. Her best bet would be to find a certified midwife to help her. Good luck.
Insurance is designed to cover unexpected events…not planned ones. There is no company that would be willing to pay for childbirth is such a situation.
There is none. Once your pregnant, it doesn’t matter if you’re a citizen or not! You can’t get private health insurance to cover a birth, AFTER you’re already pregnant.
If she’s your wife, you can try to add her to your group insurance policy through your employer.
Otherwise, whoever is sponsoring her, gets to pay her medical bills.
No she cannot get insurance…especially if she’s coming to the US just to have her kid so it can be a citizen.
