There was a charity called Corporate Angels who used to get free rides on corporate jets for sick people who need immediate flight, or can’t afford it. Thanks to Congress, there are far fewer corporate jets available, but it might be worth a try.
Call the airlines and ask………………they may have something like that for you after a check with her doctor.
It used to be possible for you to find some kind of discount if you had to fly for medical purposes or for a funeral. However, that’s usually not the case anymore.
It’s definitely not something you would find by booking online, you’ll have to call the airline directly and ask (don’t be surprised if they say no, though.)
