Yeah, bleeding is actually helpful sometimes.
Think about it, it is the physical effect of flushing gunk out of wherever it was. You would rather bleed and have the germs come out than not bleed and have them sit there for longer.
It’s only a problem when you have like a battle wound and there is too much blood coming out- otherwise when you get cut you want some bleeding to occur.
And just keep flossing, cause that will kinda "toughen up" your gums so they don’t bleed anymore.
Yes! I remember when I went to the dentist I said, ‘ When I clean my teeth, floss, or use tooth picks it bleeds. ‘ The dentist said ‘ Oh that’s completely normal, it’s because you got a clot of plaque out (yes I know that sounds gross) don’t worry about it. ‘ So yeah it’s good, because it means that tooth is all clean now.
yes it is true when you brush your teeth blood comes out because it is getting rid of the germs
My dentist always tells me this and you know what, it’s actually true your sister’s gums will eventually stop bleeding so tell her to be patient it will get better
Bleeding of gums is a sign of infection. Plaque germs sit in and around your gums, and infect them, causing gingivitis. When you try to remove that plaque (by flossing, or dental appointments) the infected gum tissue bleeds. If you keep flossing every day for a few weeks it will heal up the gum tissue, things will become healthier, and they will stop bleeding. So it’s not great if your gums are bleeding but it’s good to clear the bacteria out – the bleeding is just a sign that it needs to be done more often!
