I have a policy worth a look. Its the BlueCross/BlueShield dental HMO, and there is no waiting period BUT, you have to be signed up by the 15th for coverage on the first of the next month. So….right now, you could not be covered until April 1st.
Also, with the HMO, you would have to settle on one office to be your dentist, although you can change it later. The cost is right at about $11.65 per month, plus a one-time sign-up fee of $35. Here’s a link to the benefit sheet which gives you the cost of the various dental services. Many of them are free.

Let me know by e-mail if you’re interested, but either way good luck with your situation.
You have a few options, mostly discount plans that allow you to get certain discounts at participating dentists. To get true dental insurance you probably need to be in a "group" of at least 3 people.

I have signed up online 2 years ago, and they have saved me alot of money on all dental procedures. I needed it ASAP. My benefits were active in 2 hours. Wow.
Good Luck
most of those things will depend on your plan but I doubt any insurance will cover invisalign.
Most companies do not offer individual dental insurance. There are a lot of companies that offer "plans" that are discounts, it isn’t insurance though so be careful.
Delta dental does offer insurance in some states. You should definitely give them a try.
Also, most insurances have like a 6 month waiting period for major things. You would just need to check with them.
It is always best to have dental through your employer if possible.
