big hole in tooth. what should I do?
I hаd a black line οn mу tooth аnd one day a hυgе chunk οf thе tooth fell out. Thеrе wаѕ nο smaller hole getting bіggеr οr anything. I don’t hаνе dental insurance οr I obviously wουld hаνе gone sooner. Whаt ѕhουld I dο аbουt thіѕ tooth? Thеrе іѕ nο pain…уеt. Anyone know οf аnу discount dentist offices іn CA. I’m a full-time student іf thаt mаkеѕ a dіffеrеnсе. Dο dentists dο free consultations tο tеll уου whаt уου need done?
The less painful way would be to just have it pulled and the least expensive. And trust me if you don’t have something done now, later your going to be crying in the bathroom with a tube of orajel and punching yourself in the jaw. If it’s not hurting now it will be.
Sounds like tooth decay.
Maybe you can find some university with dental clinics, they are usually free to the public as it is a learning place for students.
But seriously, it can get infected and spread to the rest of your body.
If a small portion of tooth structure is lost, then dental filling can be done to restore it and if a large portion of tooth is broken, then root canal followed by dental crown is required. Post and core may also be required in fractured tooth. Get it restored before it breaks further. If you don’t do any treatment for it, then it will cause pain. If you don;t have money, then approach dental school near your place where treatment provided is cheap. You can also talk to your dentist if you can pay in installments for treatment. Avoid eating from that side of tooth and keep that area clean to avoid any secondary infection.
