Hundreds of thousands of people suffer from motion sickness,
whether it is on a boat, on a plane or just in general, motion
sickness can stop you from having a good time and cause lots of
stress and anxiety.
There are however quite a few remedies to combat motion
sickness. Most of them are over the counter so you don't have to
constantly worry about doctor visits and refilling prescription
and they are perfect for the mild sufferer.
Dramamine or similar generic product. These over the counter
tablets are taken orally and work pretty quick to adjust your
equilibrium whether on a plane, a boat or having fun at the
amusement park. There are sometimes certain side effects like
jumpiness, but nothing troubling. If you require a quick fix and
don't normally suffer from motion sickness this may be the
remedy for you.
Motion sickness patches. These are great if you will be on a
cruise for a long period of time and don't want to continually
pop pills. They are time released and safe. You usually wear one
patch per day and the medicine stays effective the whole day.
Many people swear by their patches when they are exposed to
motion for along time.
