Keep Fit as You Age
There is plenty of information available on exercising and
dieting for young men and women, but what about information for
older men and women. Many doctors are now calling for increased
awareness in older populations, advising older men and women
that exercise is an excellent activity for keeping fit as you
age.
There have been many studies that have shown that by exercising
as you age, you actually can reverse the damage that has been
done to your body and look and feel younger. There are many
programs available that show older men and women strategies that
are effective at keeping the years off with the use of an
exercise routine. Many exercises are low impact such as walking,
swimming and stretching. However, many do include weight
training for building strong muscles and body form.
Many people swear by the results that they have seen by just
exercising regularly- usually three times a week. It is
important to note that before planning your exercise routine you
should consult your physician. Many people with heart ailments
are advised by their doctors to exercise, but some modifications
are usually made. Even people that have had a heart attack are
advised by their doctors to exercise
So if you want to look great and feel young again, take a look
at beginning an exercise program. There are plenty of proven
benefits and it is easy to start.
