If family of two have health insurance, and one of them decide to use it for couple medical procedures will insurance policy premium go up?
Please advice.
Thanks.
Specifically; my payroll service has a client that has AFLAC accident insurance and Health & Dental insurance. They claim to have the AFLAC and dental insurance pre-taxed but not the health? I need to make sure we deduct properly.
AND IF YOU DON’T WHAT DO THEY DO ARREST YOU? FINE YOU? I MEAN THE REASON MOST OF US DON’T HAVE IT CUZ OUR EMPLOYER DOESN’T PROVIDE IT, AND IT COST TOO MUCH. SPEAKING JUST FOR MYSELF, EVEN IF IT WAS A DISCOUNT PRICE…I WOULD HAVE A HARD TIME. I BARELY SCRAP BY PAY CHECK TO PAY CHECK AS IT IS.
My boyfriend neeeeds to quit smoking, he smokes like more than a pack a day! But! He doesnt have health insurance, and i have great health insurance through my job. Are there any potential dangers to getting him a prescription for chantix on my health insurance ? (i socially smoke so it wouldnt be a huge stretch at the docs office) Could it increase my insurance costs to admit that i am a "smoker" to insurers?
I volunteer at the shelter 2-3 days per week, and I’ve made it my goal to take some of the more hyper, exciteable dogs out to the play yard and let them have some "free-running" time. This helps them learn to socialize with humans, and it also helps them burn off the excess energy that gets built up living in such close quarters.
The problem is, when we get out to the yard, we have no toys for them to play with. I don’t mean the expensive kind of dog toys. I mean, we don’t even have tennis balls to throw for them. NOTHING. The shelter is so over-wrought, all the funding and donations go for the basics… food, water, medical care, staffing… there’s no $$ for "extras" like toys.
I need some ideas for getting toys donated, or at a great discount, so the dogs can at least have something to fetch. Right now, all they have are rocks! I need names of charities to contact, even those philanthropists who give small sums to charities. Anything you can think of. Thanks!
I’ve asked PetSmart, which is the only store close to us, and they said they send monetary donations to the national Humane Society. Unfortunately, our shelter doesn’t get their donation directly
I would ask Walmart, but they’ve been so generous to us recently, I’d feel bad going to them asking for more. Someone stole one of the cash boxes at one of our remote adoption centers at a PetSmart store (over 00!), and when Walmart heard about it, they sent us a check to cover the stolen amount.
My husband and I both work but neither one of our employers offers health or dental insurance. Where can I go online to look at different plans? We live in the state of Georgia. Also…does Dental insurance normally come with Health insurance or do you have to purchase it separately?
I know that certain trade organizations offer discount health insurance under group rates if you join. However, I am unaware of any groups for a person who is self employed as an expeditor–a person who works in the urban planning field filing cases. He pays a exhoribant monthy premium for his health insurance.
Is there a government health insurance for every employee in the UK? How much do you pay per year? Is it deducted from your paycheck?
Can you get additional health insurance? Are vision and dental usually included as a benefit from your employer?
I am moving to the UK and would like to know a bit more about what to expect. Thank you!
I don’t have dental insurance or any medical that would cover it or "discount" it. Also, with the growing use of these "new" films that are viewed on a computer, can copies be given to a patient to take to another dentist? Does the dentist have a legal right NOT to make them available to the pt (even with some fee?) Thanks.
Dave F. I gave you a thumbs-up. I have no idea who would rate your answer thumbs down. I guess someone with nothing better to do.
I know a couple who have young children and both work. They make too much money to get any help from the government but not enough to carry dental insurance for it is way out of their budget. Does anyone know of any other programs that may help them? The husband is in severe pain because of his rotting teeth. He is also diabetic and needs diabetic supplies that cost hundreds each month. Neither qualify for medicare for they are under the age of 55. Thank you for your help.
I need an insurance or discount plan that covers or discounts braces? Does anyone know of a good one that is not a rip-off?
Basically, I’m looking to get new health insurance (my work insurance blows) and I have a choice between one that is 0 per month but with a 1,000 deductible and one that is 0 and has no deductible.
My mom is out of work and needs to have some dental work done. I was thinking to get her a Delta Dental Insurance in the hopes that it will help her. If you currently have this insurance or had it in the past, could you please tell me if it’s worth it. Thanks.
Is their any organize that will help are doctors that willdonate their talents for a discount? Can anyone help
I’m talking mostly about :
1. Professional people, like Vets, Drs, lawyers, who don’t want to lose your money for their services.
2. Relatives and old people who are techno-phobic.
They discount that there is medical research online from huge universities. (Not trying to diagnose myself or my pets, but I use the research and educated opinions from prof’s on the Net to help form a decision). And then I get this statement thrown at me. How do you respond to it logically?
To give you one exampe of how "good" the ‘net can be, I actually won a law suit when someone sued me thanks to legal brainstorming by nice people on a forum! They taught me how to act as my own lawyer (it was just Small Claims Court); I did; and I won. I should pay those people who helped me. This is part of all the "terrible" stuff.
I know there is bad info, but I’m not stupid enough to read some dummy’s opinion that is not backed up and go on everything I read.
Im planning on moving to America with my 2 children to live with my boyfriend, can anyone tell me how much health insurance costs?
I am 26 years old, and I want to wear braces. I try to enroll a dental insurance to save money but failed to find one that covers orthodontics for adults of my age. Can anyone give me any recommendation for the dental insurance? Many many thanks.
My husband and I are vegetarians, and just found this WONDERFUL discount health foods warehouse in our town. The majority of things are around a week or so before the expiration date, which is fine. However, they have a wide selection of soy milk products (A case - 12 half gallon containers- for ) that have an expiration date of February 2006. I’m wondering if this stuff is safe to drink, because if it is, that’s the deal of the century. Anyone know how long unopened soy milk lasts past the expiration date?

*PS- Smart asses need not answer.*
99% of the claims made in favor of the house health care bill are outright lies. It is amazing that people believe these things. Explain to me how if private insurance companies are forced to cover people with preexisting illnesses and not allowed to discriminate on a variety of factors, costs go down.
I am looking for the best dental insurance to help fix my open bit….I live in Columbia SC and I can’t seem to find any insurance to help me. I dont know how much these things cost but I hope it is not too much.
A previous question intrigued me. I was wondering what responses I would get if I worded it differently.
If someone doesn’t smoke, has a healthy BMI, cholesterol and blood pressure and gets regular checkups, would it be fair to give them a Social Security withholding discount or a special tax credit? Should this go hand in hand with raising the retirement age for drawing benefits?
To Colette, I agree that aged people will cost a lot to care for. That’s why I would propose raising the retirement age. This proposal counters your argument because healthy people would work longer and contribute more to the system. That’s the way it was originally intended to work. When Social Security was enacted the life expectancy and retirement age were very close. Now the gap between them has grown. Also, care for the aged need not be prohibitively expensive.
I want to invest in stocks because this is a good time to buy low and the market will recover eventually. My question is this: Which market/sector should I invest in? The following are what I have heard about frequently: 1) Medical equipment and supply companies, however, will the prospect of universal health care make this a risky investment? 2) Discount stores such as Wal-Mart, Dollar General, etc. 3) Finally, which sector would be beneficial to take advantage of the huge number of baby boomers who will be retiring?
Thanks in advance everybody.
Hey. Please somebody help me. I am employed but don’t get any health insurance. I am 27 and single and need a good health insurance but cheap. I live in Florida. Can somebody can help me with that?
The dental insurance through my job has a 5 month waiting time. I have a missing front tooth that got chipped off. I want this done soon so I can look good. Right now I am using a removable fake tooth called a "flipper". But I hate the thing and its hard to eat with it in.
What are my best options on the insurance?
