My husband was trying to add my son to his family plan at the same time he added me right after we were married, but my husbands HR director wouldn’t let him. Is that common? I need healthcare and I have insurance but I’m a college kid and I don’t have any money whatsoever even to pay the 25% or whatever for my medical bills after insurance. I’ve been getting medical bills and some are about to go to collections. Don’t tell me to pay them ’cause I can’t.

What can I do to not mess up my credit score? Will the hospitals be willing to extend deadlines if I ask to pay them a month or something? Any other suggestions?

I don’t think you are right, I have a bill on my credit with Experian that I didn’t think collection would report so I didn’t bother to pay.

An elderly person in my family is moving out of Florida and apparently the state she’s moving to doesn’t have same medical plan. She will probably be going into UNITED HEALTH CARE again because this is the one she had up to almost three years ago.

My question is, Can she change right now?

My son is on a feeding tube due to a small bowel transplant he received last year. My husband and I are returning to a full work schedule and our health insurance (Tricare) does not cover a nurse for him, or special daycare because his only special need is the feeding tube and the medication he receives through it.
