I am a single 25 year old healthy male. Are there any truly affordable health plans out there for me? And don't say that 0 a month is affordable, because its not. I don't need any major medical coverage. I haven't had insurance for 6 years and haven't been to the doctor in those six years. However, my eyesight isn't great, so vision coverage would be good. I also want dental coverage as well. Any suggestions?

If a member has an HMO plan or Medicaid can you balance bill them?

My friend recently applied for a health alliance discount in cinncinnati, oH and her income was just over above the guideline, she does not have an insurence and applied for hospital assitance discount which is health alliance discount, and got disapproved as she made 30$ more then their income gulideline.
I had her call their customer rep, and the man refused to help and said sorry you made 30$ more and now you have to pay your bills, and there is no way you could be approved for more 100%
Can someone help from their experince how can she get them to give her 100% discount so her bills will be covered.

Is Cinergy Health Insurance plan true insurance. Their website shows both Discount Medical Plan and Health Insurance Plan. I saw similar question on the following link but replies talk about only Discount Medical Plan. So now I am wondering, is it only Discount Medical Plan or they do also offer health insurance plans too?

I have some medical bills from when I didn't have medical insurance. I noticed that TransUnion and Experian are no longer listing it in their report, but equifax is. They will is about 25K because it was emergency surgery. The deby is from 2004. i thought it stays on record for like 10 years?

What's the difference between Hillary's and Obama's health plan? Both allow private insurance to exist, both require a certain quality of coverage and have mandates insurance companies have to meet, and both will cover everyone who wants health care. In the state of Missouri who is responsible for a child's unpaid medical bills? I provide insurance to a step-child and have no legal rights to the child. The child's legal guardian takes the patient to the doctor ( I never know who or when). Therefore the guardian fills out the paperwork and the unpaid bills get sent to their house. My fear is that the amount not paid by my insurance company will never get paid and I will not know. Who will they go after?
Just to let people know…i only provide insurance for the child but have no legal connections besides marriage.
